130th Airlift Wing unveils completed $3.75 million Base Entrance Project

U. S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito (center left), Maj. Gen. James Hoyer (center right), the West Virginia National Guard Adjutant General, and other state and local officials cut the ribbon to the new base entrance of McLaughlin Air National Guard Base, W.Va. during a ribbon cutting ceremony held May 26, 2017. The new $3.75 million gate complex provides a smoother flow of traffic into and out of the base and addresses the security concerns found in the 2005 Base Closure and Realignment Commission’s (BRAC) report.
