MCLAUGHLIN AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, W.Va. -- The 130th Airlift Wing is now available in the USAF Connect app. The app includes exclusive 130th AW content, features and is now available for download on personal smart devices. Features include, but are not limited to notifications, news, a base directory, a fitness calculator, resources, links and CAC-enabled features like the AF Portal, DTS, Web Mail and more.
The AF Connect app was presented at the Air Force Spark Tank, a competition that showcases innovative ideas to senior leaders, Feb. 23, 2018. It is an Air Force-wide mobile app designed to enable, engage and empower Airmen by centralizing and increasing access to the information they need for their careers. In addition to providing headquarters-level information, local units can maintain Sub Apps, accessible through the USAF Connect Favorites Portal.
130th leadership will be using the app tools in the future to more quickly and acutely communicate wing plans and events to the wing populace.
