Chief Master Sergeant Jeffrey S. King is the Command Chief Master Sergeant, 130th Airlift Wing, McLaughlin Air National Guard Base (ANGB), West Virginia. CMSgt King is the principal advisor to the Wing Commander on matters of readiness, training, health, morale, and welfare. CMSgt Kings provides leadership, career development and general supervision to the 130th Airlift Wing enlisted force.
CMSgt King entered the West Virginia Air National Guard in January 1996 assigned to the Commander’s Support Staff. He completed Air Force Basic Training in July 1996 and completed Personnel Apprentice course in September 1996. In 2001 CMSgt King transitioned career fields into Aviation Resource Management where he graduated the Apprentice course in July 2001. In June 2008 CMSgt King was assigned to Airfield Management and in January 2012 CMSgt was appointed as the Airfield Manager. In November 2021 CMSgt King was selected as the Senior Enlisted Leader for the 130th Operations Group. In April 2025 CMSgt King transitioned to the 130th Airlift Wing to assume the role as Command Chief Master Sergeant. CMSgt King has participated in several operations and exercises as well as deployments in direct support of Operations SOUTHERN WATCH, IRAQI FREEDOM, ENDURING FREEDOM, NOBLE EAGLE, INHERENT RESOLVE, and FREEDOM’S SENTINAL. Prior to this assignment, he served as the Senior Enlisted Leader, 130th Operations Group, McLaughlin Air National Guard Base (ANGB), West Virginia.
