Chief Master Sergeant HAROLD K. WILLIAMS

Chief Master Sergeant Harold K. Williams is the Command Chief Master Sergeant for the 130th Airlift Wing, McLaughlin Air National Guard Base, Charleston, W.Va. He is primary advisor to the Wing Commander and provides general supervision to the Wing enlisted force in areas such as, readiness, career development, leadership, and risk management. Chief Master Sgt. Williams enlisted and graduated from basic military training in December 1988. Following technical training he served the 130th Consolidated Aircraft Maintenance Squadron as a Fuel Systems Specialist and as an Aircraft Engine/Propeller Mechanic. Chief Williams went on to serve as the 130th Maintenance Squadron Propulsion Superintendent where he stood up the unit’s first Engine Regional Repair Center and served as Contracting Office Representative overseeing engine and propeller overhauls throughout the guard and reserve. Prior to his appointment as Command Chief, Chief Williams served as the Wing Occupational Safety Manager and Civil Engineer Squadron Manager. Chief Master Sgt. Williams’s major deployments include OPERATION Desert Shield/Desert Storm and OPERATION Enduring Freedom/Noble Eagle.
